Rev. Jim David will work with you as a couple to prepare a wedding ceremony that will be a memorable celebration for you and your guests. He will put time into getting to know you as a couple, preparing the ceremony, and officiating at the prayerful celebration of your marriage.
The base fee for these services is $850 and usually represents a modest percentage of the entire wedding cost. In most cases the base fee is adequate to cover your wedding ceremony in its entirety. A non-refundable initial deposit of $150 is required to hold a ceremony date - the deposit is counted toward the base fee.
Additional fees may apply based on locaton of ceremony, extended preparation, and other optional services such as rehearsals(Rev. David does not ordinarily attend rehearsals). Rev. David offers a complimentary meeting, either in person or by phone or skype, so that the couple may learn more about his services. A personalized quote for your wedding can be made available at the end of this meeting.
Fees are payable in installments during the preparation period as follows: the deposit to hold the date -$150; first meeting - $200; second meeting - $200; remaining balance is due 14 days prior to ceremony date. The wedding license must be submitted to Rev. David with the final payment two weeks prior to the ceremony date unless other arrangements have been made.
Additional fees are charged for: missed appointments are billed at $100 (please give 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment); late fees apply for appointments, rehearsals and ceremonies beginning at 30 minutes after the scheduled time.
Please note: a sliding scale fee is available for people who are in need and are planning very simple weddings.
